BA IN LEISURE MANAGEMENT

This is a four-year degree program and leads to the Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure Management.

Program Aims:

• To develop basic skills to underpin development through higher education process and beyond.

• To introduce a range of literature specific to the field of study.

• To develop a thorough awareness and understanding of the various processes of assessment used by the department.

 

Program objectives:

• To provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to manage organizations specializing in leisure.

• To enable students to apply these concepts, principles and techniques appropriately to a variety of organizational situations;

• To encourage students to think critically and independently about intercultural problems;

• To provide the opportunity, through course related activity, for students to develop the skills and attributes necessary for their career and personal development.
