ACADEMIC COUNSELLING - ADVISING
The College considers students' advising and counselling to be of high priority. Thus, it provides the resources and the personnel needed to conduct academic advising and counselling.
Advisors will make every effort to give effective guidance to students regarding academic matters and to refer students to those qualified to help them. However, the final responsibility for meeting all academic requirements for a particular program of study rests with the student. Students, who find themselves in academic difficulty, should consult their class advisor. Incoming transfer students should contact the appropriate class advisor for guidance.
Students are encouraged to see their class advisor as often as it feels desirable. It is anticipated that each student will meet with the class advisor at least twice each semester. Once before registration and once during the semester.
