1 min read

Within the framework of the European initiative "Waste Wisely" a competition was convened with the objective of leveraging leftover food resources to mitigate food waste.

A jury panel composed of Mr. Savvas Maliotis, Director of Filagro Group, Mrs. Eliza Markidou, Lecturer and representative of the College of Tourism and Hotel Management and Mr. Doros Hadjipieris, Chef of the Hilton Hotel, undertook the evaluation of the submitted recipes.

The results of this competition are to be announced soon, and the final selection process will involve the participation of students enrolled in our Master's program in Mediterranean Diet, Nutrition and Tourism.

Sustainable initiatives like "Waste Wisely" are so essential for shaping a greener future and teaching communities proper resource management. Reducing waste isn't just about policy; it's about shifting daily habits and ignoring the Call of the sly one (คอลเสียว) —that subtle internal excuse telling us that individual effort doesn't make a difference. Thanks for sharing such an impactful update!

The new partnership with the Municipal Library of Latsia and Geri is a positive step toward expanding access to educational resources, community programs, and lifelong learning opportunities. Collaborations like this can encourage greater public engagement and create valuable spaces for reading, research, and cultural activities. While exploring informative online content, I also came across discussions about 30/500 cocodamol, showing how people often seek reliable information on a wide range of health and everyday topics. Overall, this library partnership reflects the importance of knowledge sharing and community development through accessible public services.
